Web UX Insights with GA4 & Looker

Boosted site performance insights by designing a real-time analytics dashboard to track user behavior, content flow, and lead generation.

What are people clicking on? Which pages are working? Where am I losing potential leads?

While learning marketing, I often heard how companies use analytics to understand user behavior and make smarter decisions. So when I built my personal portfolio website, I used it as an opportunity to work with real data and apply those concepts myself.

I integrated Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and built a custom Looker Studio dashboard to monitor user behavior, content performance, and lead flow. It helped me connect user insights with design decisions.

What I did:

  • Tracked traffic sources and visitor journeys

  • Analyzed which sections users engage with most

  • Measured scroll depth, session time, and click behavior

  • Set up event tracking using Google Tag Manager

This hands-on project deepened my understanding of blog engagement, website growth, and how analytics can support content and UX strategy.
